All patent holders should now start to prepare for it and understand the system in terms of the legal scope, costs and enforcement. The webinar will be held by our European Patent Attorney Folke Johansson on 25 April 2023 at 10 am EEST. The webinar is free of charge.

Folke Johansson

Director (Patent Department), European Patent Attorney

Folke Johansson is Director (Patent Department) at Papula-Nevinpat and a European Patent Attorney. He is also a partner in the company and a member of our company’s Legal Team Russia.

Folke first started his Intellectual Property career in 1991 when he was hired as a patent agent at a Finnish patent agency. In 1995 he moved to the telecommunications industry and his extensive patent experience includes identifying and handling inventions, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, patent strategy work, licensing and litigation, purchasing and selling of patents as well as managing large patent portfolios.

Folke joined Papula-Nevinpat in 2010 as Director of the Patent Department where he is responsible for internal processes and competence development as well as for developing client relationships. Folke regularly acts as an expert in patent litigations, and has a lot of experience of Oral Hearings before the European Patent Office (EPO), both before the Examining Division as well as before the Opposition Division and the Boards of Appeal.

Folke travels frequently, lecturing and speaking at conferences about EP, PCT and US patent systems as well as patent management and strategy.
